Sign A PDF

Sign it without printing, signing and scanning it back.

This adds a picture of a signature to the page. It is not a cryptographic digital signature and carries no certificate — for legally binding e-signatures, use a service that issues one.

The print-sign-scan loop is the most wasteful ritual left in document handling, and it degrades the file every time. Placing a signature image directly on the page skips all of it.

Draw your signature with a mouse, trackpad, pen or finger, upload a photo of one, or type your name in a handwriting-style face. Then click the page preview to place it and adjust the size.

Be clear about what this is: it draws a picture of a signature onto the page. It is not a cryptographic digital signature and carries no certificate — for a legally binding e-signature with an audit trail, use a service built to issue one.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a legally binding signature?

It is an image of a signature on a page, which in many jurisdictions is accepted for everyday agreements. It is not a qualified or certificate-backed digital signature, and it carries no audit trail — for anything requiring that, use a dedicated e-signature service.

How do I get a clean signature image?

Draw it here with a trackpad or touchscreen, or sign a white sheet of paper, photograph it in good light, and upload that. A PNG with a transparent background sits most cleanly on the page.

Can I sign more than one page?

Place the signature on one page, download the result, then feed that file back in to sign the next page. Each pass adds one signature.
