Frequently asked questions
How do I extract just one page?
Select that page and split by selection — you get a one-page PDF. The Extract Pages tool does the same thing with more control when you want several non-consecutive pages in one file.
What does “by selection” actually produce?
Each run of consecutive pages becomes its own document. Selecting 1-3 and 7-9 gives two files; selecting 1, 3 and 5 gives three.
Does splitting change the pages?
No. Pages are copied into the new documents byte-for-byte, with no re-encoding, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
